For decades, Jim Taylor and his 1964 Pontiac Tempest have been a familiar combination on the drag strip.

Jim’s racing story stretches back through years of competition, including time spent racing in California, where hot rods, horsepower, and drag racing became a major part of American car culture.

That ’64 Tempest became part of his life.
